NFL

Eddie Jackson, a 30-year-old Football safety, was previously in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Alison Gore. The couple share a daughter who is currently living with her mom.

Eddie and Taylor have removed all their posts together and are not seen in public anymore, which hints that the Football-enthusiast couple has parted ways.

Eddies has been one of the NFL’s most successful players after a complicated start. Most NFL draft analysts and scouts predicted that Jackson would be selected in the third round after graduating from Alabama. He was invited to the NFL Combine, but because of his fractured leg in October, he could not participate in any physical drills during the pre-draft phase.

NFLDraftScout.com ranked him as the fifth-best strong safety prospect in the draft. The Chicago Bears selected Jackson as the 112th overall choice in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Jackson signed a four-year, $3.06 million contract with the Bears on May 15, 2017, which included a $665,797 signing bonus. After spending six seasons with the Bears, the 30-year-old from Florida signed an agreement with the Baltimore Ravens on July 19, 2024.

His recent masterclass performance has left the fans cheering for him. NFL fans are also interested in whether the 30-year-old player is dating anyone and whether he is still together with Alison, his baby mama.

Eddie Jackson Carries His Family’s Name

Eddie Jackson was born to his father, Eddie Jackson Jr., and his mother, Angelia.

His father, Eddie Jackson Jr., works in the construction business, and his mother, Angelia, is a medical assistant.

The Jackson family has lived in Deerfield Beach, Florida, for generations. Jackson’s father and grandfather have the same name: Eddie (not Edward) Jackson.

Jackson’s father and grandpa used the nicknames Bo and Jack, respectively. Jackson adopted both names, BoJack since he was the third person in the family to have the same name.

When Netflix started showing “BoJack Horseman,” it got confusing for Jackson, and some people mistakenly thought the two nicknames were related.

Demar Dorsey, his brother, was a standout recruit in high school.

Dorsey committed to play at the University of Michigan and was regarded as one of the best safeties in the class of 2010. Jackson was shaped by the fact that he could never play Division 1 football due to personal troubles and grades.

As a rookie, Dorsey was at Soldier Field when Jackson scored two defensive touchdowns against the Panthers, and he has been an outspoken supporter of his younger brother.

Eddie Wanted to Play for Texas Before He Signed for Alabama in College Football

Eddie Jackson started his career at Alabama as a cornerback. However, he wanted to play for Texas during his college.

Jackson was in middle school when Vince Young led the Longhorns to victory over USC in the 2005 National Championship.

Jackson remained a dedicated Texas supporter despite the distance, even supporting them against Alabama, his eventual alma school, in the 2010 National Championship Game. Alabama won because Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was forced to leave the game in the first quarter.

“I was mad,” Jackson declared. “I was dog-cursing Colt McCoy for getting hurt.”

Jackson found out that he was unlikely ever to receive the opportunity to play for Texas when his older brother began receiving calls from college coaches. At the time, the Longhorns scouted and recruited almost exclusively in Texas.

Texas only had one out-of-state football commit year on average in the ten years before Jackson’s high school graduation, and several of those players already had family connections to the program.
