Abhimanyu Golchha, the son of Nepali business tycoon Shekhar, started his career as a Repair and Diagnosis Intern for Ford Motors Co. in June 2012. Here, he gained extensive expertise in automobiles.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he worked as a Quality Control Intern at HimElectronics Private Ltd between June and August 2014 after his time at Ford Motors.

Then, he became a Quality Assurance Intern at Samsung Electronics America. With his experience in Samsung as a quality assurance, he later worked as a designer in the same brand in India.

Golchha took on his first managerial position as a Trainee Manager at Bajaj Auto Ltd. in June 2016. At that time, he worked in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Likewise, he has held several positions at the Nepal Young Entrepreneur’s Forum (NYEF) in Kathmandu. First, he was a head committee member and then worked as a second vice president before being promoted to President in July.

Abhimanyu Golchha is a famous business leader with an MBA from the renowned Manchester Business School in the UK.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2015. He also participated in Sigma Nu Fraternity as a Treasurer and Interfraternity Council Member. Likewise, he attended Kodaikanal International School for his International Baccalaureate course from 2009 to 2011.

He started helping his father, Shri S.K. Golcha, to run the family-oriented company in 1999 before finishing his studies. Their vision and managerial skills have helped the company increase, adding modernity and dynamics to the group in response to a changing and competitive world.

He promoted green energy and established Solar power plants in the Mining areas.

Abhimanyu Golchha Married His Wife, Shreya Giri

Anhimanyu Golchha married Shreya Giri in a lavish wedding ceremony in the UAE. The wedding reportedly cost more than 300 million NRP.

Mrs. Shreya Giri is the director of Prithivi Printing Press and a member of NYEF Kathmandu.

The couple got engaged on July 21, 2021.

Shekhar planned her son’s wedding in Dubai, the world’s most expensive city, on February 9th, 10th, and 11th. The lavish wedding was held in a private location two hours from Dubai. Approximately 250 Nepali guests traveled to Dubai for the wedding ceremony.

The previous president of the federation, Pashupati Murarka, senior vice president Chandra Dhakal, and others are rumored to have attended the wedding.

There are rumors that NPR 100- 150 million was spent on lodging, airfare, and wedding-related costs. Further expenses to make the ceremony lavish reportedly brought a bill of at least Rs 300 million since it was a destination wedding.

However, how Golchha managed so much foreign exchange is unclear since it is illegal for the ordinary public to transfer such massive money from Nepal.
