Mike Kafka, 37, a Super Bowl-winning coach, has been married to his long-term partner, Alli Kafka. The couple currently lives in New York with their three kids. The romantic partners who tied the knot in 2014 have been together for over a decade.

Michael John Kafka, commonly known as Mike in football, is the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for the New York Giants. The team has been home to players like Kadarius Toney, Paul Perkins, and Joshua Kelley.

From 2017 to 2021, he held various coaching positions in the Kansas City Chiefs, coaching De’Anthony Thomas, Patrick Mahomes, Kareem Hunt, and Isaiah Buggs.

Moreover, with the Chiefs, he won the Super Bowl LIV with rosters including Mahomes, Chad Henne, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and Damien Williams, among others.

Mike Kafka married his partner, Alli Kafka, in 2014 after dating for a few years. The couple met for the first time in their freshman year in 2005 and started dating immediately after that. The romantic duo have been together for over a decade, and they still seem to be going strong.

To be more specific about their wedding, the couple tied the knot on July 5, 2014. They had a grand wedding at Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. Their close family and friends attended the grand wedding at the Amalfi Coast.

On their 10th wedding anniversary, Alli posted a throwback of their wedding picture on her Instagram with the caption, “Now, and forever more! Happy 10th Anniversary”

Mike was playing as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the couple exchanged vows.

Mike and Alli have been blessed with three children in their long marriage. The couple has welcomed a daughter and two sons. Mike and Alli refer to their kids as the Three Musketeers.

They welcomed their first and only daughter, Ashton Kafka, on March 25, 2016. She is currently eight and in primary school. Likewise, the couple welcomed their second son, Jackson Kafka, on June 1, 2018. He is currently six and in primary school.

The family of five seems to be enjoying their time together. They are seen traveling the world during vacations. For instance, recently, they were seen at Amalfi Coast, Italy, and Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, for their vacation.

Mike’s Coaching Career Stared At Northwestern University, The Place Where He Met His Partner Alli

Mike had a short career as an NFL player, playing for just five seasons. During his brief time in the NFL, he was a part of the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans, and Cincinnati Bengals.

However, his coaching career started like a fairytale. On March 29, 2016, Kafka began coaching at Northwestern University as an offensive graduate assistant. This was the university where the Super Bowl-winning coach met Alli, the love of his life and mother to his three kids.

One year later, on February 7, 2017, Kafka was reunited with coach Andy Reid from his playing days when the Kansas City Chiefs hired him to serve as their offensive quality control coach. Moreover, on January 26, 2018, Kafka was promoted to quarterbacks coach.

In 2018, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes saw his first Pro Bowl selection and won the season’s NFL Most Valuable Player award under Mike’s supervision.

Moreover, he had a chance to develop other Quarterbacks like Chris Oladokun and Carlson Wertz.

The Chiefs faced the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game but faced a loss in the 2018-19 season.

Later, on February 2, 2020, in the 2019-20 post-season, the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV and lifted the trophy.

On February 11, 2022, the New York Giants hired Kafka, who had just brought in head coach Brian Daboll, to run their offense. Likewise, on January 22, 2023, Kafka had head coaching interviews with the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, and Indianapolis Colts.

Kafka led the West team in the East-West Shrine Bowl of 2024, which took place on February 1, 2024. Then, on February 7, 2024, the Giants promoted him to assistant head coach.
