He was dealing with mental health issues, and it got worse when his coach said, “We didn’t win a National Championship because you weren’t worthy of being a champion.”
Redick started seeing therapists and was on anti-depression pills. However, he dealt with his problems and returned stronger in the 2006 NBA draft.
