Was The Olympian Bullied For Being a Gay?
Daley began his career very early. As a sports personality, he grew taller and had a different voice than his classmates.
These became reasons for many to bully Daley. However, he was not a shy kid who would tolerate misbehavior, and at 14, he spoke publicly against his bullies.
He withdrew from his school, Eggbuckland Community College, and spoke about bullies at BBC in 2019. He said, “If you’re being bullied at school, you’re not the only one.”
Later, Brighton College and Plymouth College offered him full scholarships, and he continued his education at Plymouth College because it was closer to his home.
He completed his A-Levels in Spanish, mathematics, and photography from the same school in 2012 and discontinued further education.
