Olympics Gold Medalist Kristen Faulkner Has A Boyfriend Named James Green: More On Dating Story!

Kristen Faulkner, an American cyclist and Olympic gold medalist, seemingly has a boyfriend, James Green. Her social media posts show that she has been with James for over nine years. The couple is seen in public quite frequently, which has raised concerns about their dating story.

A native of Homer, Alaska, Faulkner is the reigning USA National Road Race Champion. She is a member of EF–Oatly–Cannondale of the UCI.

Before pursuing her cycling career, she was an investor and part-time sales strategy analyst. In 2024, she joined the US cycling squad at the 2024 Summer Olympics as a replacement. Yet, she won the women’s road race and became the first American to win a gold medal in road racing in forty years.

She brought two Olympic gold medals for her home country—one in the Road race and another in the Team pursuit.

Kristen Faulkner Is Seemingly Dating Her Boyfriend, James Green

Kristen Faulkner has been seen with James Green, which has fueled many dating rumors about the Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalist.

They recently had a great time on their date in Bruges. Based on Kristen’s social media post from March 26, 2024, the romantic duo seems to have had a great time in Belgium.

The couple’s first picture was posted on December 7, 2015, suggesting they have known each other for over nine years. Furthermore, based on the May 29, 2016, Instagram post, the couple graduated simultaneously- meaning James Green also attended Harvard with his partner Faulkner.

Kristen was on the Rowing team for her University, just like her partner James.

Faulkner’s partner, James, is active on social media under the username @jamesgreen1234. However, he has kept his profile private.

According to her website, she currently lives in her home in Girona, Spain, with her partner.

Kristen’s Supposed Partner, James Green, Participated In the Rowing Team At Havard

Kristen rowed and cycled during her college years. Her supposed partner, James Green, also participated in the same sports.

According to the Official site of Havard, he rowed in the third seat for the third varsity in a win over Cornell and a loss to Brown in 2013 during his freshman year. Likewise, he finished fourth in the Freshman Eight Grand Final at the IRA National Championships by rowing in the second seat.

Moreover, in his Sophomore year, he rowed the third varsity’s fourth seat three times. He also helped the 4V place fourth in the EARC Sprint’s petite final.

Furthermore, he placed second and third in the varsity eight and won a silver medal at the EARC Sprints. He also placed second at the IRA National Championships. He won the combination race while sitting in seat number two at the 150th Harvard-Yale Regatta. 

Fi year, James spent three races in the third varsity’s bow during his senior year seat. He raced with the fourth varsity team at Eastern Sprints. Green also sat in the bow of the varsity four+ at the IRA National Championships.

Kristen Faulkner Grew Up In A Family of Seven

Olympian Kristen was born one of five children in the Faulkner family. She was raised by her American parents in Alaska. Kristen has a sister and three brothers.

She grew up in the Alaskan fishing community with four siblings: Katie, Andrew, William, and Nicholas. In this close-knit family, she went on hikes and had picnics with her family. She also enjoyed going to the beach and swimming in the ocean.

Sports and adventure were part of the family, and she participated in several games with her siblings from an early age. She is still seen with her father while cycling and having fun together.

Moreover, the Olympic gold medalist also spent quality time with her mother. She was seen with her mom celebrating Mother’s Day in 2020. Likewise, she has also talked about her mom quite a few times. For instance, she posted an Instagram post on May 10, 2king about her mother.

She said her mom moved from Massachusetts to Alaska when she was 22. She raised five kids with her dad and always supported our dreams.

Kristen says, “When I left to pursue pro cycling, my mother’s adventurous spirit and spark for life inspired me to pursue the unbeaten path. She is everything.”

After completing her varsity rowing studies at Harvard, Faulkner earned a B.A. in computer science in 2016. She holds the university record as the most lightweight woman ever to row a 2k indoor. Before that, she was a varsity runner, swimmer, and rower at Massachusetts’s Phillips Academy, where she made the honor roll.

Faulkner Just Achieved More Than She Expected At The Olympics 2024 At Paris

Kristen has revealed on her official website that her biggest dream of representing her home country is to win the Olympics. However, she would achieve more than she had initially dreamt of, as she would win the gold on the sport’s biggest stage.

Even though Faulkner was a replacement for the Olympic squad for 2024, she won the women’s road race and became the first American to win a gold medal in road racing in forty years.

The 158-kilometer race saw Faulkner cross the finish line 58 seconds ahead of the silver and bronze medallists.

Faulkner’s solid start to the 2024 season with her new team first took place in Stage 4 of La Vuelta Feminina and the Omloop van het Hageland.

She won first in the time trial and the road race at the United States National Road Race Championships in May 2024. After that, she was chosen to compete alongside Chloé Dygert in the road race and team pursuit events during the 2024 Summer Olympics.
