Quincy has two siblings from his biological parents, Milton Hall and Breanna Hall. Like Quincy, Milton, and Breanna ran as track and field players.
However, they could not make it as far as Quincy, so they went on to work in different fields. Milton studied criminal justice at Bethany College and has been pursuing a career in the field.

He said, “Raising dogs and raising animals, You just see the determination the animal has; I just try to keep that same determination cause I can’t outwork a dog.”
The Olympian also compared his struggles to those of dogs. He used to work two odd jobs to get through school.
He said, “You got to get your own food, No cafeteria, no study hall, none of that. You can find out how to be a dog by yourself.”
This is why his six pet dogs are important to him, as they symbolize the sufferings and pain he endured as a child raised by a single mother.
