Prakash Saput’s Parents Are Meenakumari And Bal Bahadur

Born Prakash Bishwakarma on September 14, 1990, Saput is the oldest son of his parents, Meenakumari (mother) and Bal Bahadur (father). He is from Baglung, Nepal, and resides in the country’s capital, Kathmandu.

Saput dealt with various problems from a young age. Belonging to the Dalit caste, Prakash’s family, mainly his mother, dealt with discrimination. The singer even suffered extreme poverty, always crying tears of sorrow.

Due to poverty, Prakash’s father, Bal, went to India for a better life. The singer even spent some time in Delhi and later returned to his country with his mother while his father stayed in Delhi.

From an early age, Prakash felt responsible as he was the eldest of his siblings. He was like the second man of the family, taking care of other members.

On the other hand, Meenakumari took care of the household alone. The singer has also been open about the discrimination faced by his mother. He said his mom was separated in the stream and temple.

Due to the untouchability system, his mother used to get up early and go to the stream before anyone went there.

Saput’s Deal With Hardships And Journey To Prominence

As mentioned earlier, Prakash Saput dealt with many hardships at a young age. His early life was marked by poverty, and like many in Nepal’s rural areas, his family faced significant financial difficulties.

His father went to India to earn money and returned at the age of 50. Later, Saput decided to go to Qatar as a security guard. After obtaining a passport, he went to Kathmandu.

In Kathmandu, he trained as a security guard for nearly one month. After the training, the Arabian interviewer rejected Saput because he was very young.

Despite that, Prakash was happy, as he ambitioned to pursue his music career.

Prakash came with Rs. 5000 in Kathmandu and later used Rs. 1500 to return home, and the rest was in books. Later, Saput stayed at a friend’s hotel and started looking for work.

With free food and accommodation, he began working around the hotel. At that time, he got a job in Gambesi Dohori, where he received less payment but received good tips from customers.

Saput’s earnings kept on increasing, and later, the club opened a branch in Dubai. Following that, he was sent there but returned to Nepal after three months. He had returned to Nepal for marriage and went back to Dubai, but it couldn’t last longer.

One day, Prakash met Prithvi Thakali, who gave him a job at Prithvi Entertainment. This became a turning point as his financial issues were sorted out there.
