Timalsina resides in Lalitpur with her partner Kedar, a native of Makwanpur, and their two kids.

Kedar Ghimire And Sita Timalsina Met For the First Time At Relative’s Wedding
Ghimire and Timalsina met at a wedding with the help of his brother. Ghimire reveals love at first sight, but his partner did not notice him initially.
During an interview with Umika Basnet in the Himalayan Television show Jeevan Saathi, Kedar Ghimire talked about how he met his wife.
Kedar reveals that his father pressured him to marry early when he moved to Kathmandu for the first time. His father even looked for a few girls for arranged marriage (which was mostly preferrable in Nepal then).
However, Ghimire was not ready to marry just anyone.
The couple recalled the first time they met and says they could not talk during the meeting as there were hundreds of people at the wedding ceremony.
Moreover, he was asked if he was ready to marry her after his relative‘s wedding. He said yes, and the rest was the start of a beautiful romantic story.
After their families met three days earlier, the couple engaged on Falgun 13, 2056 BS (February 25, 2000), and tied the knot on Falgun 18, 2056 BS (March 1, 2000).
Ghimire and Sita got emotional during the interview when the actor referred to his wife as the most beautiful lady in the world and how she helped him build his stunning career.
The 48-year-old actor said he did not take his wife anywhere during work as he preferred to keep his job and family separate. However, he never forgot to bring in gifts for her wife.
