Noah’s father, Larry, is a lawyer by profession. The 33-year-old actor usually says he would also be a lawyer if he were not an actor.

According to Friedman Kaplan’s official website, Larry Robbins is a Trial and appellate attorney with a diverse practice that includes complex and high-stakes commercial and bankruptcy litigation and prestigious white-collar and investigative work.

As a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he has brought numerous cases nationwide before federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. Twenty cases before the US Supreme Court and more than sixty cases before various US Circuit Courts of Appeals are among his appellate experience.

In his work, Larry has represented government and private clients in investigations and before Congress. Notable clients include Dr. Christine Blasey Ford at Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court; Marie Yovanovitch, the former US ambassador to Ukraine, before the House Impeachment Committee in 2019; and David Kramer, the former assistant secretary of state, before the House and Senate Intelligence Committees.
